Zachary Hutchins, DDS (Dr. Zach)

Born in Utah and raised in Southern California. I graduated from Foot Hill High School in Tustin, California. I spent my college years attending BYU-Idaho first as an art major, then switched to Human Biology. While there I met my wife Sabrina and had our first child Penny. We then Moved to Loma Linda California where I attended Dental School and we had our second child Cole.  Just recently we had our third child Tessa.

I love spending time with my family, and when I am not doing that you will probably find me playing with Legos or making something with my hands.

My passion for dentistry started 10 years ago on the 5th of July. I had an accident and broke both of my top front teeth in half. I always had a goofy gap between my teeth before I had my accident, and I saw this as an opportunity to get rid of that gap. The dentist took impressions of my teeth to design new ones, I pulled out some drawings of what I wanted them to look like, and asked if I could sculpt them out myself. He helped me with the process and I knew in that moment I wanted to be a dentist. The perfect combination of science and art.

Carol Ellens, DDS

Hi y’all. I’m Dr. Carol Ellens, a wife, mom, Air Force veteran (active duty), general dentist, and Arizona Native. My spark for dentistry began as I was completing medical check ups needed to finalize my separation from the military. I was ready for a new adventure, but undecided as to what I wanted to do when I “grew up” (military joke). As I was completing my final dental appointment, I asked my dentist (a cool, fun loving dude) if I could stick around to see what he did all day since it was clear that he loved his job. I ended up loving the experience. With the encouragement of my husband and kids, I completed the remainder of my undergrad degree in South Carolina and dental school at the University of Minnesota.

I believe in a personalized approach to dentistry, taking the time to listen to my patients and tailor treatments based on their individual needs. Whether you’re in for a routine check-up, a cosmetic procedure, or a complex dental issue, my goal is to ensure you leave with a healthier smile and have an ‘as enjoyable as it can be for dentistry’ experience. I’ve been on both sides of the chair, so I understand.

Outside of the office, I enjoy 10-pin bowling, books, traveling, and spending time rooting/cheering for my kids’ sports teams.

Thank you for choosing Isanti Family Dental for your care, and I look forward to seeing you and your teeth.
